Less than a decade ago, Independence Charter School was merely an idea in the minds of a few forward-thinking Philadelphia parents who wanted a quality educational experience for their children, one that prepared them to be citizens locally and globally. These founders established Independence Charter, and set the school on a path of consistent, demonstrated growth and success.
To advance from a simple idea to one of the most respected charter schools in the City of Philadelphia in only nine short years is certainly something to celebrate!
