ICS 2010-2011 Teacher Recruitment

ICS is now accepting teacher applications for the 2010-2011 school year. To be considered for a teaching position, candidates must be certified to teach in Pennsylvania or be actively in the process of becoming certified in Pennsylvania. Independence Charter School Opens Language Learning Resource Center for Students and Their Families

Starting February 24, Independence Charter School’s Language Learning Resource Center will be open for extended hours to provide students and their families with the opportunity to supplement their second language studies through additional practice with Rosetta Stone software.
ICS Raises over $2,000 in 2 Days for Haiti Relief Efforts
January 25, 2010
In response to the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Independence Charter School has put together several opportunities for students, staff, and ICS families to help the people of Haiti and the relief efforts currently underway there. In two days the ICS community has collected over $2,000 dollars through a Change for Change Drive and a Dress Down Day.
