Early Dismissal
At Independence Charter each learning minute is precious.
Therefore, the ONLY early dismissals that will be allowed are:
1. Visits to doctors/specialists that are documentable: this means that you can show proof of a completed visit should we ask for it.
2. Regular religious lessons: a letter should come from your church/synagogue/place of worship indicating sessions.
3. RARE family emergencies: we hope that you will not be faced with these events which may occur once or twice a year.
WHAT DOES NOT QUALIFY for Early Dismissal?
o “I had a meeting at the school and I finished early.”
o “I got here early to avoid the rush during dismissal.”
o “My job let me out early today”.
o “This is the only music/karate/swimming lesson time I could get for my child.”
o Etcetera
