Healthy Food, Healthy Bodies
ICS takes very seriously its responsibility to address the well-being of the children entrusted to its care, and that includes their physical and emotional well-being. Because diet is a large part of well-being, ICS asks that you send your children to school with healthy lunches and snacks, such as:

  • Sandwiches
  • Green salads
  • Fruit salads
  • Pasta salads
  • Vegetables and dips
  • Fruit
  • Cheese
  • Yogurt
  • Low-salt crackers
  • Graham crackers
  • Low-/no-sugar cereals
  • Water, milk, and (limited) juice

Parents are asked to try not to send any soda, candy, or sweet treats in lunches and to send healthy treats for classroom celebrations.
