Mayor Nutter Hosts ICS Middle School Students

On Tuesday, May 20, a group of 10 middle school students from Independence Charter School met with Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter at city hall. Students prepared and shared statements about changes they would like to see made in the city, and they did a “toast for change” with the mayor, complete with sparkling cider in champagne glasses. Students spent almost one hour with Mayor Nutter discussing their hopes and dreams for our great city.
