2010-2011 Student Lottery and Tour Dates

In order to be included in the lottery process and/or in order to be considered for sibling preference, 2010-2011 applications were due by Friday, November 20, 2009. Any applications received after that point will be added to the end of the waiting list.
To apply for admission to Independence Charter School, parents and guardians must submit an application in person and need to bring copies of: proof of the child’s birth date (birth certificate or passport), a current utility bill or lease or mortgage statement as proof of address, and parent photo identification. FOR KINDERGARTEN APPLICATIONS ONLY, the original documents must also be presented. Parents should carefully review the entire Lottery Information Sheet before submitting the application. Changes cannot be made after the application is submitted. Faxed, mailed, and incomplete applications will not be acccepted.
POST Lottery Deadline ApplicationView and print the 2010-2011 application for admission. Applications are also available in the school office. The 2010-2011 lottery (to accept kindergartners and to create waiting lists for kindergarten through 8th grade) will take place in December. The lottery is open to the public.
ICS offers tours on a regular basis during the school year. The remaining tour dates for the 2009-2010 school year on which there are still available spaces are:
