New Building
April 2008 Construction Update
Our construction crew has been hard at work, both inside and outside the building. In the existing building, the classrooms are starting to look like what we’ll see in the fall! All work has been done, except for the finishes. These finishes include paint, flooring, and window coverings. All through April, families can comment on the colors that our design team has selected for our school. A “finish board” is on display at the school, so stop by and make your opinion known. Crews have also been working on installing plumbing and electrical, putting up drywall, and completing lighting and ceiling work. Our building received permanent power on April 1 (no, not an April Fools’ joke).
The outside work is apparent; all you have to do is drive by and you can see the addition’s actual shape. If you can’t drive by, take a look at the construction photos in our photo album, and you’ll get a sneak peek. Better yet, come to one of several hard hat tours planned in April.
