Lottery Process
ICS holds its admissions lottery each fall for the following school year. To be included in our lottery process, all families, including families with a student currently enrolled in ICS, must complete an application. ICS does offer sibling preference.
- Complete all forms in your admissions package and prepare all supporting documents. You can download an application 2009-2010 ICS Student Lottery Information and Application or pick up a package at the school’s front desk. To submit an application, you’ll need:
- A completed application form
- A completed waiting list postcard
- Your child’s original birth certificate (or passport)
- An original proof of residence (current utility bill, mortgage or lease papers, etc.)
- To have your child included in our lottery, you must submit your child’s completed application and personal documentation in person by our enrollment deadline. Late, faxed, mailed, or emailed applications will not be accepted and your child’s name will not be part of the lottery.
- After the lottery, ICS will notify you to let you know whether your child has been admitted (for kindergarten only ) or what number your child is on the waiting list.
- Families on our waiting list will be called only if ICS can accept your child for the upcoming school year.
