Lottery Process
To be included in the ICS lottery process, all families, including families with a student currently enrolled in ICS, must complete an application. ICS does offer sibling preference.
- Complete all forms in your admissions package and prepare all supporting documents. You can download an application 2010-2011 Process and application or pick up a package at the school’s front desk. To submit an application, you’ll need:
- A completed application form and copies of the following documents (FOR KINDERGARTEN APPLICATIONS ONLY, you must also bring the original documents for review):
- Your child’s birth certificate (or passport)
- Proof of residence (current utility bill, mortgage or lease papers, etc.)
- Parent photo identification
- To have your child included in our lottery, you must submit your child’s completed application and required documentation in person by our enrollment deadline. Late, faxed, mailed, or emailed applications will not be accepted and your child’s name will not be part of the lottery.
- After the lottery, ICS will notify you to let you know whether your child has been admitted (for kindergarten only ) or what number your child is on the waiting list.
- Families on our waiting list will only be called if ICS has a space for your child for the upcoming school year.
Applications are for one school year only; waiting lists are not carried over from year-to-year.
