Neighborhood as Classroom
ICS is located at 16th and Lombard in a neighborhood of broad diversity, rich cultural resources, and great significance in our nation’s history. Our students can walk to Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center, the Arden Theatre, The Atwater Kent Museum, and the Free Library, incorporating these outings into classroom-based study. Their classroom becomes even larger with field trips to areas farther afield.
