About

Neighborhood as Classroom

ICS is located at 16th and Lombard in a neighborhood of broad diversity, rich cultural resources, and great significance in our nation’s history. Our students can walk to the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, University of the Arts, City Hall, and the Rosenbach Museum, incorporating these outings into classroom-based study. Their classroom becomes even larger with field trips to areas farther afield.
