Buy a Brick and Become a Part of ICS

Take advantage of a unique opportunity to create a permanent legacy at Independence Charter’s new location. Buy a 4" x 8" brick and have it engraved with your personal message. These bricks will be used to create a special walkway running along the new addition of Independence Charter’s new home at 16th and Lombard Streets.
The Fifth Annual International Festival at Independence Charter School

Join the Independence Charter School community for its Fifth Annual International Festival, featuring the food, music and culture of Chile, Dominican Republic, Kenya and other countries. This year’s festival takes place at ICS from 10am to 2pm on Thursday, May 22.
September 2008 School Opening and WINGS Updates

As you know, we are making the “big move” to the new school site at 16th and Lombard Streets this September. Here are the related school opening dates for Fall 2008:
- Construction is anticipated to be fully completed on August 29
- School for grades 1-8 will be open on Monday, September 15
- Kindergarten students will begin school on Wednesday, September 17
